Bruised Battered Beaten but Still Alive (2022)

I had a pretty rough 2020, as I’m sure we all did. 

In early January, I got hit by a car while on my motorcycle, leaving me unable to work or walk. Due to that, I lost my business. 

I then had surgery for the first time in my life, and in order to heal, began my lockdown process three months earlier than the rest of the world.

Going from being up, active, outside, and in control of my life, to injured, down, out, and fearful of the future had me going through some really dark places. In order to keep my mind right, I did what any real artist would do, and found a way to utilize that energy. 

‘Bruised Battered Beaten but still Alive’, the five-track project that you see now, is a result of that effort. 

Although initially created within a month’s time (January-February 2020), I didn’t decide to make something official of these creations until mid-late 2021.

It took a lot of growth, patience, learning, and self-searching to finish this, but it’s here - my gift back to God for saving my life and bringing me through,
