Keith Haring x THisLIFE (2018)

I don't remember what grade I was in when I first learned about Keith Haring but I distinctly remember watching this video in one of my classes and falling in love.

Mr. Haring's art is not only bright, fun, and colorful, but it makes you stop and think. It not only catches your eye, but it keeps it...it makes you wonder and that's not only what i aspire to do with my designs but it's what made me such a fan of his.

For this imaginary collab, I drew inspiration from one of his most recognized pieces, Untitled (1982). 

Seeing this piece and my logo being a heart was simply a no brainer for me. I think it's cool how there are two characters upholding love and trying to either share it or push it forward. It's said that love is the strongest force in the world and a lot of my logo has to do with love, so they really flow hand in hand.

Fun fact: I drew this design out in 2014 and never got it printed. Here it is 4 years later and it's finally coming alive. Some things just take time!
